About ACM SIGGRAPH Perth
ACM SIGGRAPH Perth is a network of computer graphics and interactive technology professionals and students. It has approximately 250 members and friends which include artists, programmers, technologists, visual media professionals, digital content creators, teachers, students, film makers, web developers and many others from many other disciplines.
We run FREE monthly events where local, national and international key note speakers present their work or topics of practice to the public forum. The forum gives the opportunity for attendees to directly network with the speakers and other attendees.
ACM SIGGRAPH Perth also holds monthly screenings of local, national and international Computer Graphic Content which is normally inaccessible to the general public. Screenings can range from Technical presentation to Short Films or full programs of animation festivals.
Annually, ACM SIGGRAPH Perth compiles a Showreel DVD of Computer Graphic Content which showcases some of the best Computer Graphic work that comes out of the Perth community. This DVD is distributed to targeted festivals, groups and conferences including the largest annual Computer Graphics Convention, SIGGRAPH. http://www.siggraph.org/s2007

The 35th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques
Digital innovators, creative researchers, award-winning producers, provocative artists, energetic executives, and adventurous engineers. The worldwide SIGGRAPH community gathers in San Diego to explore the products, systems, techniques, ideas, and inspiration that are creating the next three generations of computer graphics and interactive techniques.
SIGGRAPH ASIA 2008
For the first time an ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques will be coming to Asia next year.
From 10 - 13 December 2008, SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 will explore fresh, new horizons of innovation and excellence. The highest quality of ideas from the community is assured as all accepted papers will be published in the ACM Transaction on Graphics.
SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 will feature works that provoke thought, explore ideas in innovative ways, address contemporary issues, interactively engage viewers in discovery, and stimulate their intellect and creativity.
