Author of "THE HACKER DEMO SCENE AND IT'S CULTURAL ARTEFACTS", George Borzyskowski
George presented a very interesting talk on the PC "demo" scene and his experience with the history of computer graphics from the seventies up to now. George Borzyskowski has been actively involved in the teaching and practice of visual communication design for 35 years. His own experimental and early computer animated film work was widely screened internationally in the 1970's winning awards at film festivals in London, LeTouquet, Venice and Chicago, and in 2003 an early computer animated film he made in 1971 was included in the '100 Years Of Artist's Films In Britain' exhibition at the Tate Gallery in London. Also presented early demos running on his own original AMIGA 2000 computer!
